Travelling by Air. How Has It Changed Since The Pandemic? Is It The Same As Before

Two years ago we flew to Ecuador right when the pandemic still has a lot of travel restrictions. That’s the one reason we never returned back to Canada was we had to pay a lot of money to return back to Canada so our five year living along the beach plan became two year plan.

Flying then we need to have negative PCR test to enter or leave the United States. You only had 72 hour prior to flight. Wearing masks and shields was the safest way to fly back then. Using lots of alcohol wipes and antiseptics to wipe everything down.

Flash forward to exactly two years later. I’m fly back to Canada from Ecuador. There was only one covid related thing I needed to do and that was to declare that I was fully vaccinated as I was entering into the USA. Canada. use to require that and n arrive can application but that is no longer needed.

Needing to book my flight home as soon as I could I wasn’t aware that it was March break. It was fairly busy going from Ecuador to New York (JFK). The flight from JFK to Toronto was ok. I had not even an hour to exit. the plane, grab my two bags of luggage find the Airtram to take me to a whole other terminal and go threw customs on both sides. Thank gosh I pre ordered a wheelchair to get me three faster. It seems like a majority are back to not wearing masks. I chose to as I know that a lot…
