Tiny Home Living — What They Don’t Tell You
Everyone has seen the tiny home shows. They showcase these amazing homes done up to perfection. While you are watching the show, you can actually picture yourself doing just that, living in a tiny home sitting back and enjoying life. Well, my husband and I did just that.
Prior to our wedding back in Dec 2018. My then future husband and I sat down and we started planning out our future life together. We had a choice to make and that choice consisted of us buying a home together and working for the next 20 years to pay off the mortgage, or we could take life by the hand, scale back on our lifestyle more so on our living area and be in the position where we would only work when we wanted to, not when we had to. Guess which option we picked.
The route we decided to take, instead of building or buying a tiny home, we opted for a park model trailer. We opted to go with the park model route because we were not planning on staying in Canada for the winters and the price point was a lot cheaper.
