Some people find it hard to meditate, they find the mind wanders to what’s for dinner, when do the kids need to be picked up, thinking about what to buy at the store. These are all real distractions to being able to mediate.
I’m going to explain 6 ways to help you.
The 6 ways to Effectively Meditate
1~ Recognize each time your mind gets distracted
2~ Release your attention from that distraction by no longer paying attention to it.
3~ Relax any tension in the mind or body that was already present or that was caused by that distraction.
4~ Re-smile or smile again, to bring in an uplifting state of mind.
5~ Return to your object of meditation.
6~ Repeat the process through your practice.
