Can a Short Walk Minimize Sugar Cravings?

Do you have a sweet tooth? Do you love a good chocolate bar?

Are you trying to cut sugar out of your diet for health reasons or to help loose weight?

Scientists have done a small study and they say that if you’re craving sugar put on your shoes and go for a walk. When they did this they said that participants reported lower cravings of sweets.

Spending time outside also improves mental health and physical health. It also helps with better sleep habits, improved immune systems and healthier eating habits.

Fresh air is great for the soul.

If you’re looking to walk to get away from sugar it comes with amazing other habits as listed above.

Stress doesn’t manifest only as feeling overwhelmed, frantic or frazzled, It can also show up as fatigue, boredom, irritation and sadness. Many people turn to sugary foods like chocolate at that point, thinking it will give them a much-needed boost – which it tends to do, but only temporarily. Once that surge in blood sugar recedes, they’re often left feeling even more stressed and depleted than before. Taking a walk can break this cycle.
