Tiny Living Is It For You?
Before we moved to Ecuador we chose to look for a place that was cheaper and something that we could entertain our family coming down to visit. We looked on Airbnb and we found a beautiful home in a gated community with three bedroom two bath house. It was a steal of a deal as it was still pandemic times and they had not rented it out for two years. The price was amazing and the home looked to be exactly what we had hoped for.
When we arrived we had been pleasantly surprised that it was exactly what the pictures showed online. You can never be too cautious as this is not always the case. We had been pleased with our choice.
The family came to visit a few times I would say a total of six weeks in the span of a year and a half. The home was big as I mentioned but we had been so use to living smaller in the past four years as a couple and I had been living tiny for some years prior. We found the home to be too big for us and the rent was increasing to over our budget.
We made the decision to relocate. We knew we wanted to stay in the same area and we knew we wanted to be in town where it wasn’t right in the middle of town but within walking distance to the ocean. We could walk from the bigger home but it did take us almost 30 minutes one way. We wanted something that was much closer and more convenient overal.
